Yellow Fella [short]

Australia (MIFF2005,documentary)
Director: Ivan Sen
In 1978, Tom E. Lewis played the unforgettable hero in [The Chant of Jimmy Blacksmith]. The character he played was close to himself: a young man struggling on the edge of two cultures. Ivan Sen's first film since his award-winning feature [Beneath Clouds] (2002), [Yellow Fella] is an emotional journey across the land and into Tom's past, as he attempts to find the resting place of the father he barely knew. It screened in Un Certain Regard at Cannes this year. --- D Ivan Sen P Citt Williams, CAAMA Productions S Tom E. Lewis, Angelina George WS CAAMA TD 35mm/col/2005/25mins
