The Capricorn Contract (1969) [Short]

Australia (MIFF1970,Australian Films)
Director: Edwin Scragg

For the first time entirely new rail welding and track laying techniques were used to construct the heaviest railroad ever laid in Australia. It runs through 265 miles of forbidding country on the Tropic of Capricorn in the north-west of Western Australia. This him tells how it was done- and gives occasional glimpses of wild life in the area.
