Indochina (1955) [Short]
Director: Morten Parker
After seven years of fighting the peoples of Laos. Cambodia and Vietnam are reconstructing their disordered existence with the help of truce teams representing India, Poland and Canada. The film deals principally with Vietnam where for the first time m a hundred years the people are feeling a new independence. As a sample of the inconspicuous contributions of the truce teams towards a stable pattern of existence, the film follows in detail the case of a wife in a remote village who suspected that her husband was being held prisoner as a reprisal.
