The Pale Horseman (1946) [Short]

USA (MIFF1957,Killers)
Director: Irving Jacoby

This now famous film is a compilation of library material. It is a realistic presentation of human suffering as a result of war, explaining how hunger and exposure have caused the spread of tuberculosis, cholera and malaria. Army doctors and U.N.R.R.A. scientists have done all within their power but it is only through combined effort and sustained international organisation that these conditions can be checked.
