USA (MIFF1961,Programme 7)
Director: Paul Baker

In 1957 the Baylor Theatre staged Paul Baker's controversial interpretation of Shakespeare's "Hamlet". It introduces a unique performance, in a theatre where the stage is al! round the audience and each character in the play is acted by three different actors in varied and symbolic make-ups illustrating three different facets of the character's personality. This extract is colourful, original and imaginative.
