Notes for a Film about Donna and Gail (1966) [Short]

Canada (MIFF1967,Programme 13)
Director: Don Owen

This film is a character study of the two girls, Donna and Gail, showing the currents that brought them together and revealing the differences in their natures — contradictions that first attracted them and finally drove them apart.

Because it induces thought about the nature of loneliness and the incompleteness of people generally, this story reflects in some degree the situation of anyone who has shared the life of someone else.
