Through years of isolation, the Qeros Indians of Peru have preserved much of the basic survival pattern of existence in the Andes. The Andean civilisations reach back long before the Incas, and the Qeros offer a view of what life has been like over three thousand years in this setting. They survive like forgotten seed on the mountain tops. But for how long?
