Director: Ferenc Olasz

Tivadar Csontvary Kosztka (1853-1919), a highly individual Hungarian artist, took up painting at the age of 41. He developed an individual style and a personal symbolism that became appreciated only many years after his death.

The subject of this film is his largest composition of human figures, 'Mary's Well in Nazareth'.
