The story of Sylvester, 76-year-old astronomer, and seven-year-old Katharina, who spends a summer with him. They go on a treasure hunt with their friends old Egon and Veronika, who is the same age as Katharina. They find a pair of magic brass binoculars through which they can see Sylvester and Egon when they were children. Judged most popular film by the chil­dren's jury at the Indian Children's Film Festi­val in'91.
