Fresh from his role in the MIFF 2016 Centrepiece Gala Down Under, David Field explores the unique relationship and dynamics between an actor and director in this MIFF Accelerator session. A veteran of Australian film and TV whose early TV credits include Sons & Daughters (1986) and Home & Away (1991), Field has appeared in numerous films from key directors including Gregor Jordan’s Two Hands (1999), Andrew Dominik’s Chopper (2000), Alkinos Tsilimidos’ Silent Partner (2001), Jonathan Teplitzky’s Gettin’ Square (2003), Peter Cattaneo’s Opal Dream (2006), Ivan Sen’s Mystery Road (2013), David Michod’s The Rover (2014), Jeremy Sims’ Last Cab to Darwin (2015) and Zak Hilditch’s MIFF Premiere Fund Supported These Final Hours (2013).
