KARRABING FILM COLLECTIVE NEW WORKS (2018) [Feature]
Director: Elizabeth A. Povinelli
After winning the Best Fiction Short Award at MIFF 2015 with their film When the Dogs Talked, the Northern Territory’s Karrabing Film Collective return with three exciting new films.
In The Jealous One, an Indigenous man and a jealous spirit grapple with external forces. The Mermaids, or Aiden in Wonderland is set at the end of the world, when only Indigenous people can survive the toxic landscape. Night Time Go tells an alternate history in which the Karrabing rebel during WWII and drive the colonists from the Top End.
