MY AFRICA (2018) [VR]

UK (MIFF2018,Virtual Reality)
Director: David Allen

Narrated by Oscar-winner Lupita Nyong’o, My Africa is a VR experience that transports you to Kenya, where you’ll stand in the midst of a thundering wildebeest migration and witness a lioness capturing her prey – caught for the first time in VR. You’ll also meet a baby elephant at the Namunyak Wildlife Conservancy, the first elephant sanctuary owned and operated by the local community, where young Samburu woman, Naltwasha Leripe, takes through her community’s daily life – tending livestock, digging "singing" wells deep and rescuing an orphaned baby elephant.

Produced by Conservation International and directed by four-time Emmy winner David Allen, My Africa won the AT&T award for Best 360° Film.
