MIFF Gold Patrons are generous and passionate. They love a night at the cinema and the best cultural experiences Melbourne has to offer. Their donations help MIFF recognise new filmmaking talent by providing vital funds for cash prizes in our internationally acclaimed Shorts Awards. Gold Patrons help elevate MIFF on the international stage, and we simply can’t thank them enough for their support.
In a typical year, Gold Patrons enjoy an advance sales period, reserved seating, invitations to the Opening and Closing Night Galas, and a double invitation to our special MIFF Circle Supper – attended by Artistic Director Al Cossar and our entire programming team. Gold Patrons also enjoy invitations to year-round sneak previews and cultural events, monthly giveaways and concession entry to partner cinemas.
In 2020, Gold Circle Patrons will enjoy acknowledgment on our website as a Founding MIFF Circle Patron, and special access to titles presented throughout MIFF 68½.
All donations are received by the Melbourne Film Festival Fund – a tax-deductible fund listed on the Australian Government’s Register of Cultural Organisations maintained under Subdivision 30-B of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997. Donations to the MIFF Circle received prior to 30 August 2020 will be 100 per cent tax-deductible.v All donations made via MIFF Circle are 100% tax-deductible if made by 30 August 2020.
